Free Ski Skiing Photos

When it comes to professional and competitive skiing, the term 'free ski' is a very broad one. Free ski could be referring to freestyle skiing but in most cases it just means a leisurely roll down a trail. In the professional sense it means when a person is just skiing and not competing or trying to do tricks.

When a person takes a ride down a trail or course like they would at a regular ski area, they are essentially doing a free ski. A pro skier would do a free ski if they were just warming up or leisurely strolling down the course approaching their next trick or jump. Free ski means just that; it is skiing free of any fancy moves or tricks. Professional or not, every skier has partaken in a free ski.
